CHUCHEL and Loop Hero are free this week on Epic Games Store for mobile

From April 24 to May 1, 2025, in the Epic Games Store mobile app, CHUCHEL and Loop Hero are free to download. They’re available on Android worldwide and iOS in the European Union. *

Loop Hero
Four Quarters
Loop Hero is the endlessly adventurous dungeon-crawling roguelike card game from the developers at Four Quarters and publishers at Devolver Digital, and it’s free for Epic Games Store mobile users this week.
The game’s premise is cleverly simple and easy to understand. An evil entity called The Lich is behind a time loop that’s infected the world. That’s represented in-game by randomly generated, literally looping terrain, and it’s your job to assemble your deck, deploy your heroes, survive, and break free of the spell.
You make choices before each game. You might select a Rogue, a Necromancer, or a Warrior hero class to send into the chaos. They’ll do the fighting for you, and their work will drop cards, equipment, and resources. Play the cards you have in your hand and place graveyards, villages, and even enemies all over the map. While you build the world, your hero attempts to conquer it.
Part auto-battler, part card game, Loop Hero is endlessly changing. Each time your hero completes a loop, for example, the world gets deadlier, and the odds of their survival decrease. But also, you get more powerful and unlock more upgrades for your hero’s camp. And the more cards you play, the more you’ll discover about how they interact with each other.

CHUCHEL
Amanita Design
CHUCHEL is a beautiful, hilarious, and award-winning puzzle game starring a speck of dust, brought to you by the team at Amanita Design.
The game pits the eponymous hero, Chuchel, against an in-game rival named Kekel, as both specks of dust embark upon a quest to collect a mysterious stolen cherry.
CHUCHEL is silly by design, full of beautiful levels and cheekily animated characters. It also wears its inspiration on its fuzzy sleeves, as you play through levels inspired by games like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and even more modern titles like Flappy Bird.
Amanita Design is the same company behind Botanicula, a recent free game for EGS users. Like that game, CHUCHEL players explore the world to songs and sounds from DVA, the award-winning Czech alternative rock duo. At the Annual Independent Games Festival, CHUCHEL won the Excellence in Visual Art award for its animation, design, music, and sound effects, among other aspects.
